We have a tradition to go out to dinner to celebrate any happy occasion. This time it was our wedding anniversary. Since we live in Pointe aux Canonniers, we had a full range of restaurants to choose from, all found very short distance from our home. My husband was the one to decide on where to go to and he chose one of his new favorites – Hidden Reef. Hidden Reef quickly became one of his favorite restaurant due to its great atmosphere, beautiful setting and top cuisine consisting of slow-cooked meats, flavorful fresh fish dishes, and sweet plantains. As the famous Patch n’ Parrot announced it introduces a new menu, “Mr. C” and I decided to try this new menu out. The Patch n’ Parrot is located right next to the Hidden Reef Restaurant at Pointe aux Canonniers, and when we arrived there quiet late (blame the heavy traffic) on the night of the Grand Baie 24/7 celebrations, there were still many people eating and watching sports on the huge screens.
