Open for nearly 2 decade, Le Capitaine is one of the most renowned fish and seafood restaurant in Grand Baie. My friends have been going there for the past couple of years due to the commendable authentic dishes served in style, by the water edge. The restaurant is very cozy and offers a magnificent setting overlooking the Kapu-Kai lagoon. We are always amazed by the stunning location of the restaurant and the beautiful scenery its offers – the sunset and the view on the Isla-Mauricia is simply perfect!! Sakura – unique experience of a fine Japanese restaurant!

For all our dear readers, this editor review consists of the two separate visits and dining experiences we had at the Sakura restaurant which we put together as one detailed review. —————– I love Sushi. Absolutely love it. So when Mr. “C” and I wanted to enjoy the best Sushi Grand Baie has to offer, we went to Sakura Japanese restaurant on Royal Road, Naturally. Patch N’ Parrot- the best place to eat and watch sports

As the famous Patch n’ Parrot announced it introduces a new menu, “Mr. C” and I decided to try this new menu out. The Patch n’ Parrot is located right next to the Hidden Reef Restaurant at Pointe aux Canonniers, and when we arrived there quiet late (blame the heavy traffic) on the night of the Grand Baie 24/7 celebrations, there were still many people eating and watching sports on the huge screens.
