Open for nearly 2 decade, Le Capitaine is one of the most renowned fish and seafood restaurant in Grand Baie. My friends have been going there for the past couple of years due to the commendable authentic dishes served in style, by the water edge.
The restaurant is very cozy and offers a magnificent setting overlooking the Kapu-Kai lagoon.
We are always amazed by the stunning location of the restaurant and the beautiful scenery its offers – the sunset and the view on the Isla-Mauricia is simply perfect!!

I love Sushi. Absolutely love it. So when Mr. “C” and I wanted to enjoy the best Sushi Grand Baie has to offer, we went to Sakura Japanese restaurant on Royal Road, Naturally.
The restaurant has three areas – one is a lounge area for sitting down once you arrive at the restaurant and for having the dessert at the end of the meal. At the lounge, the waiter will take your order and serve your drinks.

As the famous Patch n’ Parrot announced it introduces a new menu, “Mr. C” and I decided to try this new menu out.
The Patch n’ Parrot is located right next to the Hidden Reef Restaurant at Pointe aux Canonniers, and when we arrived there quiet late (blame the heavy traffic) on the night of the Grand Baie 24/7 celebrations, there were still many people eating and watching sports on the huge screens.
We were immediately greeted by a warm hello from the restaurant manager, Sean, who handed us the menus.
We ordered a cold beer and a fruit juice- the Phoenix draft beer was great, and the fruit juice, though it was not a fresh, was very refreshing.
